Dr. Monika grew up in NC before heading to Florida to complete her undergraduate degree in Sport Management at Pensacola Christian college. She returned to NC to pursue her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Wingate University. Throughout her program, she had the opportunity to work with a wide range of athletes and weekend warriors through her sports-focused clinical rotations in conjunction with collegiate strength and conditioning programs. She has a strong interest in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine with an interest in pursuing a vestibular/concussion specialty certification. She loves to not only help people accomplish their rehab goals but empower them to take control of their health and wellness. When not in the clinic, Monika enjoys staying active by lifting weights, competing by playing pickleball and crushing game night, and discovering all the best coffee shops and thrifty finds. Monika is excited to be starting her physical therapy career here at Healthy Body PT and getting to know the Lake Norman community!

Dr. Davis Cass is originally from Fayetteville, NC, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Methodist University before continuing on to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. During his undergraduate years, Davis was a four-year starter on the Methodist University baseball team, sparking his passion for sports physical therapy with a particular focus on overhead athletes and return-to-sport rehabilitation. As his professional career evolved, Davis developed a strong passion for golf-specific rehabilitation and performance, becoming TPI certified to assess and treat golfers with musculoskeletal injuries and movement limitations that affect the golf swing. His clinical interests also include post-operative rehabilitation, orthopedic care, and dry needling techniques, with a strong emphasis on manual therapy and correcting muscular dysfunction to achieve optimal outcomes.

Davis and his wife, Kimsey, recently relocated from Bluffton/Hilton Head, SC, to be closer to family and are now proud parents of two young children. Outside of the clinic, Davis enjoys spending time with his family, getting out on the golf course, and honing his landscaping skills.

Massage Therapist

Ivy Antonette

For a long time, I have known that I wanted to help people, I was passionate about how and why people move and what makes us so incredibly unique. I always enjoyed human sciences and more importantly the power of touch. It wasn’t until the right partner said, “Why not massage?” I had explored other creative outlets such as art school, cosmetology and worked for a few years in pet grooming. What I found was that I had an affinity for connection. I strive for community and creating an environment where clients feel heard and can experience the same relief I have through massage. In my free time though I like to write stories, design characters, play instruments and of course spend time with my family.
