prescription and progression and has an interest in pursuing her Strength and Conditioning certification in the future. She is currently certified in level 1 trigger point dry needling and will be on the path to receiving her blood flow restriction certification. Outside of work, you can find Sophie at the gym, on a run or exploring the Charlotte area with her boyfriend and their Labrador puppy! She recently completed her first half marathon and is excited to pursue more personal running and fitness related goals!
Dr. Sophie is originally from Vermont and moved to North Carolina in 2022 after completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Vermont in December of 2021. She also completed her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science at the University of Vermont in 2019. Sophie had the opportunity to practice in a wide variety of settings during her clinical rotations ranging from outpatient orthopedics to home health physical therapy and therefore has gained experience with a range of patient populations. Ultimately, Sophie developed a strong interest and love for working with active and motivated patients in the outpatient setting and has been mainly working in outpatient PT since receiving her degree. Sophie has become a strong believer in the power of one-on-one, individualized care and meeting each patient where they are in order to optimize the patient experience and allow them to meet or surpass their physical goals. Sophie has experience working as a personal trainer which has provided her with strong skills in exercise
