Mackensey was born and raised in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, and moved to Lake Norman her senior year of high school. After highschool she attended the University of Mount Olive on a soccer scholarship where she completed her B.S. in Exercise Science with a minor in Sports Psychology, in three years. While completing her internship locally to finish her undergrad, she was hired by In Motion part time, happily to now be full time. Mackensey’s favorite part of working at In Motion Fitness is working with young aspiring athletes as she was one herself, not long ago. In her free time, Mackensey competes in NPC women's wellness bodybuilding, and virtually coaches bodybuilding competitors. Along with this, she enjoys wake surfing, hybrid training, and trail running with her dog Waffles, and new puppy Tucker.
